Professor Sattar Alshryda is the head of Trauma and Paediatric Orthopaedic Consultant at Al Jalila
Speciality Children’s Hospital. He is keen researcher and educator. He obtained an MSc from
University of Central Lancashire and PhD from Durham University. He is instructor on the Royal
College of Surgeons of England ATLS, CCrISP, APLS courses. He is regular faculty on AO, postgraduate
orthopaedic and Graf’s Infant Hip Courses. He is MRCS, FRCS and SICOT diploma examiner. He
published several textbooks and over 50 peer reviewed papers.
